The Iron Giant

One person can drastically change a life. Hogarth sees past the giants iron exterior. Hogarth got to understand the giant and realized that he also had feelings. Hogarth believed that the giant had a soul, and that "souls don't die". He ended up understanding the giants potential, the potential to save the town. The giant learns right from wrong due to Hogarth. The boy shows him "you are who you choose to be". The robot chooses to become superman rather then the weapon he was built to become, because he learned the difference between right and wrong. The giant gained traits because he was thankful. At the end of the movie, a bomb was set to hit the town where Hogarth and his family resided. The giant gained the trait of courage here, for he wanted to thank Hogarth. After stating that Hogarth should let him leave alone, the way Hogarth did. "You stay, I go. No Following", the giant collided with the bomb, ending with a grateful town. They now understood his hero trait and built a statue dedicated to the giant himself. The iron giant gained these traits because of Hogarth, and it was these traits that saved Hogarth in the end. Hogarth's perspective of the giant, the time he took teaching him right from wrong, and the traits the giant gained due to this all played a part in how Hogarth drastically changed his life.

ROCKY

An underdog is a person who is expected to lose, but rises to the top because of their own demeanor. An underdog uses their own personal experiences to inspire others. A person who moves and leads by examples, showing you how to carry on. Some refer to these people as heroes, considering that in some cases, their example could be what provoked somebody to live another day. Underdogs provide the path that allows you to follow your dreams and passions, with a flow of persistence, nerve and patience. Sylvester Stallone's true underdog story, led me to climb my own mountain.

"Man is their biggest threat and their only hope."

The Cove,

Fear as you sprint away from a wall of sound
Shaking as your cornered
Lucky if you're chosen to be sent to a jail
Hopeless if you get dragged around the corner
Separated from your parents
Can't block out their screams as they are butchered
Choking on their blood as it passes by within the current
Sensing that your death is near, your trapped
Slaughtered
Only to have another baby pass through the same fate.

The Media

The Media destroys the female ratio. The Media treats us like we are just objects to be found and taken. The Media has crippled the female gender into becoming a Barbie doll, a plastic toy for little girls to look up to and become. The Media is simply an opinion, an opinion that has alienated other opinions and taken over the human mind. Swimsuit models to Actors to those 25% less healthy then the regular woman models. We have been judged for a very long time, we have been looked at and labeled. On the television their are steroid junkies, average joes and those funny jolly fat men. In the Media, in the Simpson's it's okay to be fat and stupid but the wife has to be fit and smart. In Family guy it's the same way, in the family sitcoms the men are overweight and don't do much while the woman have to be perfect. The fat girls in movies don't find love and in the Simpsons for example, Patty and Felma are the two ugly sisters that don't find love. The world isn't fair, keep your beauty to yourself and don't let anybody take it away. In your own way you are gorgeous, simply gorgeous, and you can't let that be stripped from you to be melted in a label; a sterotype. You are beautiful because of who you are, and how you look on an average day. Don't judge yourself, don't give in. Don't let your natural beauty be destroyed by what the television business people tell you, they thrive for money even when that means melting away layers and layers of confidence.

DarkAngel; Question Heaven.

Nathan Edge is a character in my short story that might turn into a novel. This idea has been in my head for a very long time and finally it's getting somewhere in planning and creative ideas. This picture clicked with my mind for the man at the bottom is what I pictured as Nathan Edge, now just to find him and make a movie. Imagination is key but to put a real face to my created character is kind of amazing.
