Only a startling few minutes before, the heart pumped, indulging alongside a pulse.

Subtle, but corrupt. Awaiting the tear to be dragged down her cheek. A silver weight chained to her tear, conveying a sparkle. An angry little man, called Grief, attempted to pull it lower from the safety of her chin. Holding it back, unwilling to be the daughter incubated by sorrow.

The imagination creates so many escapes, through loop holes in your life it seems at some point each and every speck of detail could be greater.

It’s only the fragments of memory, that I wish I could sway my flesh anchored worth, directly inside. The push and pull of love and loss as the volcano bursts at the slightest thought of seclusion. The entity of desire to wisp my simply mortal frame deeply snug between a soft cloth and a warm breeze. Oceans maybe? Seas of current only applauding the dolphins after they had their noisy engagements. A worldly vision of happiness and diverse angels simply roaming the planet to better their soul. A safe haven to clasp the clouds in one hand and drink from the softest streams in the left, to pick only the ripest fruits from the tree and sink my teeth into fresh snow when the winter droplets were ready to pour. A Pocahontas forest to claim nothing but inhale the access of everything, to find where balance can stay as is and one simple body can thrive with the rest of them. All the same, beating hearts and caring faces. To find the peace inside, and create a free breathless experience upheld in the mind of the dreamer. To escape into a detailed palace that would sadly never exist again.

Poetry is the simple satisfaction of telling the ultimate truth.

Poetry is the wood,
waiting for you to light the flame.

Poetry is the welcoming stage,
inviting you to sing your first solo.

Poetry is the monster inside you,
giving you a pen to take away the fear.

Poetry is the beating heart,
allowing you to fill it with love.

Poetry is the safe haven for fallen soldiers,
allowing you to write them a song.

2011, let's dance.

New Years Eve, the sparkling fireworks melting among the pitch black night sky sprinkled with a million stars. the lamposts highlighting the street among the many random inviduals pondering where they may end up at the stroke of midnight. the ill members of society at home to rest as others secretly ponder their twenty eleven wishes. the ticking of the clock motioning towards the number tweleve, slow motion, slower and slower until the billion members of society meld together in the stream of smooching sweeping across nations. as the advance of the soloists groove their drunken arched bodies towards the north to consume another bottle of serum. the locals surrounding their arms around one another as the newscast shout out to the world they were presenting to all along. New Years, 2010, consuming to the point of shame and destruction. the drunk drivers, the high teens, the bottled envy that glues the gaze of the troubled and amature. New Years, terrible and passionate. this year, this day, defines all of us. Global Warming moves in from the West as fumes burry the National catastrophe we call "change". twenty eleven, twenty eleven better bring this so called "change"in the glowing white figure of silence that we allow to presume the course of inspiration. twenty eleven, i wish, will fly in, endurance of white feathers. floating, soaring, creating the hope, faith, and dreams we once needed a few decades ago. still yearning, 2011 bring us what we truely need, a will to find peace.

Holidays !

The crinkling of wrapping paper and the pen strokes of "oh dearest mother" tingle at my ears. The scent of hot chocolate indulging my senses as the idea of snow tapping the ground to grow upon inches and inches swishes around within my thoughts. The saliva forming upon my tongue as a marshmallow floats on the top of the mug of hot chocolate freshly poured. Streams of steam wriggling for the surface as my breath pushes them sideways. The beauty of calm. The warmth of calm. The tense muscles loosening their grip at the very thought. December, the melody of the holidays jingling in my ears; echoing through my heart. This was the season of love, care, and giving. This was Christmas.
